"Wear gratitude like a cloak and it will feed every corner of your life." - Rumi
This collection of memories began as an 100 day project where I spent a small amount of time at the end of each day thinking about what I was grateful for. Because, you know, I thought that was the type of positive thing that I should try to do. And I didn't actually expect for such a small daily act to have such a large effect on my life, but those 100 days filled me with an appreciation for the world around me that I hadn't felt in a long time. I also made the decision to share my daily gratitude writing on my facebook page, which at the time was remarkably devoid of any overly-personal commentary on my life. Sharing publicly the things that held the most meaning to me was freeing and exhilerating. And it was that exercise of vulnerability that eventually led me to the idea of starting a blog.
So here is my library of gratitude, which I aspire to add to on occasion. My hope is that this will be an interactive gratitude blog, where readers may add their own gratitude for each other to read and the library will continue to grow.
In that spirit, I invite you to use the comments section of these gratitude blog posts to record whatever it is in your heart that you are grateful for today.
